Testimonials

Jill W. Granite Bay
After working with Jennifer in a classroom setting, I highly recommend her childcare program. Jen is compassionate, patient and kind. Her years of experience and thoughtful approach to children in a learning environment sets a tone for academic readiness and emotional stability. 7/30/2018

Karen S. & Bobi C. - Ureka Unified School District
We had the opportunity to work with Ms. Matheson in the Emotional Support Program at Excelsior Elementary School. Ms. Matheson was able to follow IEP goals and behavior plans, remained calm and professional when students had aggressive behaviors, and always approached the students with kindness and patience. 10/15/2018

Michael Z. - Eureka School District
When supporting students with emotional and social challenges, Jennifer always demonstrated great compassion and empathy. She was cognizant of students' varying needs and strengths and how to use them to connect with students. Jennifer was able to learn and implement specific behavior plans across a variety of settings, including special education, general education, exploratories, and physical education. In crisis situations, Jennifer remained calm and followed established procedures. She appropriately used deescalation strategies to support students and maintain the safety of other students. Throughout her time working in my classroom, Jennifer showed great care for students. It is without question that she works with students’ best interests in mind. 10/23/2018
